Love graphic novels? Have something to say? Why not make your own comic book? This intro to comic making will focus on character building and design. Develop the heroes, villains, and everyday people that will become the central figures of the comic worlds you will create. Wed. 9/28. In partnership with the Tampa Museum of Art. Ages 12 and up.
Storytelling and World-building Workshop: Successful imaginative worlds draw readers in. Learn how to create a rich fictional universe for your characters to exist in. BOOK FOR THE MONTH! Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Painting BIG (Pattern). Your BIG chance to paint on a large piece of heavy paper (approx. 3’X 4’). You’ll be looking at patterns in art and then create your own BIG designs.
