Students learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. More advanced students will build upon the basics to create larger, more advanced projects. Discover varying throwing techniques, forms and glazing. Materials & firings included. Age 18 to Adult.

Fire up your creativity and join the fun! Explore the exciting world of clay through a wide range of projects with hand building and glazing techniques. Students learn in a supportive setting with individual instruction and inspiration. Materials & firings are included in tuition.

A printmaking class for beginning to advanced students. Learn how to create relief prints by carving linoleum blocks. After learning the basics, explore the individual and collaborative possibilities of using multiple carved printing blocks multiple times on the same piece of paper.

This open studio is for students at the intermediate and advanced levels! Join us if you want to explore your own personal style. Focus on your throwing techniques and varying forms. A great studio to expand your knowledge with your peers. Materials & firings included.

TBone Hamilton and the Blues All-Stars are comprised of some of the best blues musicians. Bassist/Leader – Tom “TBone” Hamilton (TBone Hamilton Band, The Swinging Johnsons, Rock Bottom & the Cutaways) returns to the Firehouse Cultural Center with his Blues All Stars: Bryan Lee & Greg Poulos This show will be one special event – Not to be missed!

Workshop guided step-by-step by artist and TMA Studio Programs Coordinator Anthony Record. Workshop inspired by the Alma Thomas work New Galaxy, currently on view in the exhibition The Making of a Museum: 100 Years 100 Works.

Charlie Morris has a brand new group, “OPOSSUM HOLLOW” and a brand new sound! This will be a CD release party for his new (not yet released) CD entitled “FOLKIE”. The group is all acoustic and performs all originals. The group consists of guitars, bass, mandolin, dobro, banjo, and fiddle
