Fundamentals of Drawing. A multi-level class for anyone who would like to explore or enhance their drawing skills. Whether you are new to art-making or are looking for a class to help solidify these basic skills. We will focus on line and mass, organic and geometric shape-making, and the depiction of volume. Jimmy Griswold can regularly be found playing guitar at venues of all sizes. Jimmy pays homage to any artist he covers, whether it be the warm tones of T-bone Walker & B.B. King, or the screaming sounds of Roy Buchanan, Jeff Beck and Steve Ray Vaughan, all while staying true to his original style. Sat. Jan. 23, 2021 at 7:30pm

The inaugural Firehouse Poetry Contest will be held from January 28 until March 1, 2021. In the spirit of Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem, “The Hill We Climb,” poets are encouraged to write on the theme of “My Hope for 2021.” Poems may be formal or free verse (any style accepted), but poems must be under 50 lines. A $5.00 submission fee required to enter the contest.

THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED. Come out and see Victoria Ginty, and her new band! Victoria has a rich history as an award-winning recording artist and singer-songwriter. She lives locally in Apollo Beach, so she and her band will be able to perform at the Firehouse on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 7:30 pm.
