Teen Open Studio is a free program that gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to create, learn, and work alongside local working artists. Teens can learn new techniques, explore new media, take on new themes, and hear about careers in the arts from new artists. All Materials Provided. In Partnership with the Tampa Museum of Art.

Remix: A wide range of follow-along make-and-take art workshops for adults inspired by the Tampa Museum of Art’s current exhibitions. Workshops are designed to be enjoyed by participants of any skill level and all materials are provided.

Come hang out with Dwayne White & Friends featuring the Dwayne White 4! DW4 features bassist Erik Hempel, saxophonist Tristan Nelson & Stephen Stewart on drums. Meet some of the finest young musicians on the Tampa Bay jazz scene! Music flows from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. See you there!

One of the main focuses is training the eye to see. We will learn perspective, balance, form, and contrast, all as it relates to composition. Take a drawing from sketch, to finished artwork with pencil. Beginner or advanced, you will develop a sharper vision and skill set for your Art. Bring quality photos to work from.

Headliner James Yon is a (past winner of 104.1 FM Orlando’s Comedian of the Year contest). This Florida native is one of America’s hottest up and coming comedians. He has his own show, “Viral Breakdown” on the Afrotainment Channel on Dish Network. He has graced the stage with some of America’s top talent including, Joe Torry, Jimmy J.J Walker, Tom Rhodes and Michael Winslow. He was a finalist for NBC’s stand up for Diversity and appeared on the FOX comedy club.

The three founding members are Ken Budd (Guitar), Taylor John (Piano and Vocals) & Bob Nesbitt (Drums). Taylor John has years vested playing in front of a live audience. Come out Oct 16, 2021!

This fine art medium, colored pencil is versatile, inexpensive, and easy to master. Learn fun techniques to produce beautiful artwork without the mess of paint. After a series of technical exercises and practice using simple tools, you’ll use them to do a drawing on colored paper. As you work, you’ll learn color mixing and additional tips to finish quickly and effectively.
