THIS EVENT IS FULL FOR FALL 2019. The Straz Center’s arts education partnership program forges vital alliances between our arts education resources and community organizations. We work with each organization to customize and design a curriculum to specifically address the needs and best benefits for those served by their organization, school, agency or after-school program. We are with our arts education partners on our stages, in our classrooms and in the community.

Teen Open Studio is a free program that gives teens in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to create, learn, and work alongside local working artists. Teens can learn new techniques, explore new media, take on new themes, and hear about careers in the arts from a new artist every session. All Materials Provided. In Partnership with the Tampa Museum of Art.

Grades 2 – 6. $5.00 per studio (now includes 2nd grade). Fun & creative art activities. Each week a different activity. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations recommended. Space is limited.

DEATHTRAP provides twists and turns of devilish cleverness, and offers hilariously sudden shocks in such abundance that audiences will be spellbound until the very last moment. Matinee Performance presented by MacBeth & Cheese in Partnership with the Firehouse Cultural Center.
