The inaugural Firehouse Poetry Contest will be held from January 28 until March 1, 2021. In the spirit of Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem, “The Hill We Climb,” poets are encouraged to write on the theme of “My Hope for 2021.” Poems may be formal or free verse (any style accepted), but poems must be under 50 lines. A $5.00 submission fee required to enter the contest.

As a studio musician, he recently recorded on bluesman Roy Book Binder’s new album, “The Good Book,” which reached #3 in the Americana charts. Currently, he is recording and producing a Willie Dixon tribute album.
