Learn the safe and proper techniques for cutting glass using wheeled nippers, running pliers, and other various glass cutting tools. Learning to use a glass grinder to shape glass will be taught. Students will explore different substrates such as wood or cement steppingstones. Methods for this class will include demonstrations, hands on practice, and one-on-one coaching from the instructor. Unleash your creativity this summer! Designed for ages 12–16, this hands-on experience introduces teens to the exciting world of pottery, from hand-building techniques to wheel-throwing and glazing. Beginners or our skilled instructors will guide you through fun and engaging projects, allowing you to explore texture, form, and color. Session 4 (2 weeks) July 28 through Aug 8 (Tue, Wed, Thu).

Vocalist Allison Nash, pianist Simon Lasky, and bassist Alejandro Arenas are well known jazz artists, composers and band leaders on the Florida jazz scene. Together, they are excited to launch this new collaboration, Arenas Lasky & Nash Project – ‘The Bacharach Book’. They interpret the great compositions of Burt Bacharach, with a jazz sensibility, and for a 21st Century audience.
