You will explore color, dive into a variety of brush strokes from flat washes to dancing with your brushes; techniques from wet to scrubbing; and more. This class is for all levels, heighten your skills or find your hidden talent. Mondays, March 6 thru April 10, 2023.

Kids Perform Drama/Comedy Theater. Wednesdays, March 22nd from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. This program runs thru Wednesday, May 24th with a “Show Off Production” for all to see. Limited spacing for up to 25 kids ages 7 – 16.

BOOK FOR THE MONTH! Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Thursdays: 9:30am – 11:30am Adults. You will focus on basic proportions and proper construction of the human form as well as light and shadow, contour, line, and composition. In-class drawing exercises by demonstrations of how to simplify and assemble more complex areas of the body. Learn to capture gesture, and measure proportion, with clearer perspective. Monday, April 10th 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

This course provides a study of how to draw a human figure using pictures. You will focus on basic proportions and proper construction of the human form as well as light and shadow, contour, line, and composition. In-class drawing exercises will be enhanced by demonstrations of how to simplify and assemble the more complex areas of the body. All the references and workbooks are provided by the instructor. Monday, April 24th 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
