Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Thursdays: 9:30am – 11:30am Adults. 08/14/2023 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm	Remix TMA Workshop – Ai Weiwei Style Mosaics Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL For our Remix session, students will be guided through the process of translating a photograph into a stunning LEGO mosaic in the style of Ai Weiwei’s Dropping A Han Dynasty Urn (LEGO) artwork. You will learn about the artist, then make art in that style. Monday, August 14, 6-8 pm, Firehouse Cultural Center. Ages 16 and up.

For our Remix session, students will be be inspired by Jennifer Steinkamp’s immersive digital installation, Madame Curie, and learn to draw on a digital tablet. You will learn about the artist, then make art in that style. Monday, August 14, 6-8 pm, Firehouse Cultural Center. Ages 16 and up.
