09/06/2023 – 09/20/2023 9:30 am – 12:30 pm	Collagraph Printmaking – TMA@Firehouse Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL Explore the world of collagraph printmaking. Our expert instructor will guide you through the process of creating dynamic and multi-layered prints by building 3D textures on a printing plate using a variety of everyday materials, from fabric scraps to found objects. This is a three-week class, Sept. 6 – Sept. 20 \| 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, Firehouse Cultural Center. Ages 16 and up. Materials will be provided.
09/07/2023 – 10/08/2023 9:30 am – 11:30 am	Adult Clay – A.M. Thursdays Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL BOOK FOR THE MONTH! Learn the basics of how to form clay through pinching, coil building, and working with slabs. Combine these forming methods together to make some fun shapes! Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Thursdays: 9:30am – 11:30am Adults. 09/09/2023 12:00 am – 2:30 pm	Intro to Wheel Throwing Sat Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL Students learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. More advanced students will build upon the basics to create larger, more advanced projects. Discover varying throwing techniques, forms and glazing. Materials & firings included. Age 18 to Adult.
09/09/2023 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm	Gypsy Star Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL Gypsy Star uplift and enchant listeners with their multi-genre brilliance. Gypsy Star’s musical compositions are uniquely represented by world music. Their sound is dominated by Spanish, Celtic and Latin flavors together with sounds of the Caribbean and the Middle East underscored by Pop, Rock, Classical and Jazz influences.
