Firehouse Cultural Center in partnership with Patel Conservatory @Straz Center presents: Drama/Comedy Theater for Kids.
Free Event: Wednesdays, Sept. 13 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Schedule follows Hillsborough School Calendar. This program will conclude with “Show Off Production” for all to see. Limited Space for ages 7 – 16. Free Programming provided by Patel Conservatory. Underwritten by The Straz.

Studio 55 is for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This is TMA’s participation in the Vitality Arts Project for Art Museums funded by EA Michelson Philanthropy to promote the work of anti-ageism in our community and industry. While building a community of artists, students will learn new techniques, develop artistic skills, and create their own impressionist-inspired masterpieces. Free 8-week class, Wednesdays 10:00 am – 1:00 pm to October 18th – December 13th. No class Nov. 22.

Students should expect to make several pieces using these techniques. With introduction of wheel throwing. Clay, tools, glazing and firing included. Thursdays: 9:30am – 11:30am Adults. Fall 2023: Select Thursdays, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium. Model varies by session. Reservations are Limited. Your $15 cash tuition is due at the door.
