 Firehouse Cultural Center, 101 1st Ave NE, Ruskin FL WUSF, Community Foundation Tampa Bay, and the Firehouse Cultural Center proudly announce a special event focused on hurricane preparedness for the 2025 season. This free jazz concert and conversation will feature music by Bryan Hughes and the Crew, the USF Jazztet Trio, and an insightful discussion led by the WUSF news team. Helen Keaney began her career in New York City where she honed her comedy skills at The Boston Comedy Club and The Comic Strip. She caught the attention of television executives, landing a job co-hosting “Short Attention Span Theater” on Comedy Central. Recent television hosting gigs include TBS’s “Movies For Guys Who Like Movies,” GSN’s “Lover’s Lounge”, Discovery Health’s “Sex Drive”, Style Network’s “You’re Invited” and she has been seen as a Show Host on HSN Home Shopping Network.
Jimmy Griswold can regularly be found playing guitar at venues of all sizes. Jimmy pays homage to any artist he covers, whether it be the warm tones of T-bone Walker & B.B.
