You will learn the fundamental techniques of Pottery, slip, score, coil, design, carve and glaze. Instructors guide you to transform raw clay into Art. Metalsmithing Bracelet or Pendant: You create either a cuff bracelet or pendant. You: Hammer, Stamp & Texture, Copper & Brass to manufacture Rings, Pendants, Keychains. Rivet metals together to create your unique works of Art. All Materials Supplied. Saturday, May 4 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Mother’s Day Special: Your flower medallions will blossom, made out of brass & copper! Texture and rivet silver accent pieces to personalize your design. Make 2 floral medallions that can be worn as pendants, brooches or made into keychains. All Materials Supplied. Adults & Teens: Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Studio 55 is the new community programming sponsored by Tampa Museum of Art for adults 55 and older to connect over art and artmaking. This blues artist, JP Soars, can create a cohesive sound in the genre by weaving in a diversity of other influences, A 2009 winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN with his band the Red Hots (and the festival’s Albert King Award winner as best guitarist to boot), the Arkansas native tours extensively through the United States, Canada, South America and Europe after relocating to South Florida.
