Each Art Play Date Session is a stand-alone session for caregiver and child artist to play with materials and create a collaborative project. This class is on select Saturdays, May 10 through Aug 9 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Firehouse Cultural Center.

Teen artists will explore a variety of mediums and work closely with innovative local teaching artists. With mentorship and socialization at the forefront, they’ll learn about different paths in art while developing their skills and experimenting with new techniques.
Supplies Included. This class is select Tuesdays, 6-8 PM, May 13, May 27, Aug 5, Aug 26 at the Firehouse Cultural Center.

Remix* TMA@Firehouse: Remix is a series of make-and-take art workshops for adults inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions with a new project every month. Workshops are designed to be enjoyed by participants of any skill level and all materials are provided. Attend class at The Firehouse Cultural Center. Ages 18 and up. May 24 through Aug 23, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. (4 classes).

Ten (10) weeks of fun for your Campers ages 7-15! You may choose a single week, multiple weeks, or every week. Explore a different theme each week from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, with snack times & lunch break – all in a creative and safe environment. Some weeks culminate with a “Show & Share” for Family and Friends. Discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly course focused on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Over six weeks, you’ll learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape basic forms like bowls, mugs, and cylinders. We’ll also cover trimming, surface decoration, and glazing techniques so you can finish and fire your own unique pieces. Saturdays, 9:00 am until 12:00 noon June 7 – July 19 (no class July 5).

This monitored environment ensures safety and support while offering access to professional-grade tools, wheels, and kilns. Whether you are hand-building, throwing, or glazing, our staff is available during all open studio hours to assist, answer questions, and maintain a safe, respectful studio atmosphere. Must have class experience to attend. Tuesdays: 9:30am – Noon. Adults. March 2025 – December 2025.

Join our acrylic and watercolor class that focuses on on capturing the beauty and complexity of seascapes using photogenic references. Class is designed for artists’ interest in understanding how to paint water whether its calming or full of dramatic energy. All skills welcome from beginner to intermediate. July 7 AND July 14: 1:30 – 3:30 pm. (2 sessions)

Every 2nd Thursday through summer months June, July, Aug, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Will be at FCC Annex building. Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium! Model varies by session.
