This monitored environment ensures safety and support while offering access to professional-grade tools, wheels, and kilns. Whether you are hand-building, throwing, or glazing, our staff is available during all open studio hours to assist, answer questions, and maintain a safe, respectful studio atmosphere. Must have class experience to attend. Tuesdays: 9:30am – Noon. Adults. March 2025 – December 2025.

Join our acrylic and watercolor class that focuses on on capturing the beauty and complexity of seascapes using photogenic references. Class is designed for artists’ interest in understanding how to paint water whether its calming or full of dramatic energy. All skills welcome from beginner to intermediate. July 7 AND July 14: 1:30 – 3:30 pm. (2 sessions)

Create a glass cactus garden! Choose your pattern and colors to create a beautiful 4″ x 6″ glass cactus garden, no watering required! Perfect for brightening any room or window, this fun and creative class is open to all skill levels, and all materials are included. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult to assist with glass cutting. Tuesday, July 8 from 10:00 – 11:30 am. This class will be in the FCC ANNEX.

Strengthen your skills in our monitored figure drawing session with a variety of timed poses. Bring your chalk, paint, charcoal or pencil, you choose the medium! Model varies by session. Please reserve online or by phone, 813-645-7651. Reservations are Limited. Your $15 cash tuition is due at the door.

Create one-of-a-kind jewelry using pre-cut copper, brass, and sterling silver. Instructor. Kate Hamilton will teach you how to texture, rivet, and assemble your own bracelet, pendant, earrings, or keychain. Limited to 6 students per class. Sat. July 12, 2:00 – 3:30 pm.

Unleash your creativity this summer! Designed for ages 12–16, this hands-on experience introduces teens to the exciting world of pottery, from hand-building techniques to wheel-throwing and glazing. Beginners or our skilled instructors will guide you through fun and engaging projects, allowing you to explore texture, form, and color. Session 3 (2 weeks) July 14 through July 25 (Tue, Wed, Thu).

This series of classes is an introduction to the unique world of wire-wrapped jewelry. Use a variety of jewelry-making tools, wire, and metals to manipulate wire into shapes, create strength and texture, and understand and incorporate beads and other embellishments into your designs. All inspired by the many symbolic forms and shapes in the Art of Coptic Egypt exhibition. Sundays, 1 – 4 pm. July 20, July 27, August 8. (3 classes)

Create the Landscape of your imagination: Use references to build dimensional mountains, fields, and meadows. Explore atmosphere through color and shape. Develop techniques to evoke emotions in your scenery. Evoke a specific atmosphere in landscape. Instructor: Helen Solomon. All material included, beginners are welcome. July 21 and July 28: 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

La Lucha returns to The Firehouse! La Lucha is a Tampa Bay based trio of three best friends from three different parts of the world: Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 7:30 – 9:30 pm.
